
Tomás Guerreiro Nunes

Tomás G.P. Nunes, architect and urban planner, founder of ‘A.R.Q.U. Arquitectura e Urbanismo’. His architectural career began at the University of Lisbon in 2010 in Urban Planning. In 2015, his Erasmus semester in Venice awakened his passion for urban complexity. Graduating in 2018 with a Master in Urbanism, with the thesis ‘The Historic Centre of Melides’. At the end of his academic journey, he was invited to join as a researcher, to develop the academic project focused on modern penitentiary systems for the 21st century at FAUL. In 2021, he joined the FCT-funded ‘MetroPublicNet’ project, inspiring his PhD research in Urbanism at FAUL.
