José Duarte has a degree in architecture. He studied at the School of Architecture, University of Lisbon (FA ULisboa) and at the School of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires (FADU UBA). His research interests focus on the study of the form of the portuguese riverside city. His work seeks to establish the relationship between riverside urban systems and the typologies of buildings and public space.
